Ahhh, solo Cee-Lo Green, what’s better, really? His song “Fuck You” has a fantastic beat and even though the phrase “Fuck You” is used in the chorus about 6 times, it is hardly crude and unbelievably catchy. Cee-Lo is fantastic in Goodie Mob and Gnarls Barkley but personally, I really enjoy his solo style. In the most respectable way possible, fuck you too Cee-Lo.  Check out the video below for the mellow little number, “Fuck You”.

Alright, I don’t know about ya’ll but I LOVE trying new recipes but can’t always be bothered to open my cookbooks and search around for the perfect one. So being all 21st century and what not, I have found this super handy iPhone/iTouch app to help me out with that problem (or laziness?). It is called Dinner Spinner, and let me tell you…it sure spun me around when I first downloaded it. The layout is simple and that of a slot machine. You choose what course you want to make (i.e dinner, lunch), what kind of food you’re thinking of cooking (i.e chicken, beef, cheese, veggies) and how long of a recipe you’re willing to slave over and VOILA! The spinner shoots out hundreds of different homemade recipes for you to make. If you like cooking new things, I strongly suggest this app my fellow Ramsay wannabe’s!

So tonight, try some new food, music and T.V. and be dry, happy and healthy on this wet night everyone!

Alright, so I have been to a few shows as of late, one of them being the great Mayhem Festival 2010 featuring the one and only, Rob Zombie.  I attended the festival in sunny Virginia Beach, VA and despite the sweltering heat, I managed to catch a few “small acts” on the silver stages – including Norma Jean, Hatebreed, Atreyu- and everyone on the main stage, including Lamb of God, 5FDP, Rob Zombie and Korn.  Now I will be the first to admit that I respect and completely adore everything Rob does.  Rob may not be as famous for his films as he is his music, but let it be known, they are gold for any horror fan. Mr. Zombie put on a FANTATSIC show complete with pyro, brain-washing videos and flawless singing (screaming/grunting). If I can make any suggestion for Mayhem festival 2010 it would be to get rid of that track-suit wearing dork Korn as the headliner and give our gory beloved Rob Zombie the spotlight he deserves.

I just recently attended the Greenday tour in Toronto and let me tell you, this band has one of the most AMAZING stage/audience interaction skills I have ever seen.  Most likely attributed to the fact that this band has been around for 20 years, they managed to get the entire audience on their feet for the full show, waving their hands and lighters, singing at the top of their lungs and yes, even holding the longest note in Greenday record (inside joke for us concert goers).  Greenday played all their hits with a few hidden gems, gave us fireworks, brilliant displays with their jumbo screens and an intense crowd interaction, I really could not of asked for more! I’ll bet even if you weren’t a Greenday fan, you would have had a blast.  Billie, Mike and Tré , you will have fans for life – even if it’s just myself, my aunt and cousins.

Despite my amazing past few summer months complete with a vacation to Virginia Beach, VA (God I love the USA), brilliant shows and amazing times with good family and friends, my choice in music has been quite mellow. I have been listening to this one particular song on repeat now for the past few days, “Don’t Let me Go” by The Mumlers, a darling hidden band from  San Jose, CA. They keep bringing me soft notes, a quirky folk sound, and soothing music that makes me wish I were back on the beach watching the tide roll in. Check out the link for some smooth tunes.

All in all my fantastic few summer months have left me to question and contemplate: what should I really be appreciating? Who should I really be appreciating?  And really…

I was way too nervous to try it when I first heard about it, so I got my friend to sit beside me while we started a new game. At first, it was kind of boring. We saw two lesbians, a couple smoking weed, a few people drinking and quite a few penis’.

Once in a while we would get my friend – who’s a guy – to step out of the camera and see if we would get different reactions. While I sat pretty and waved to the people popping up on my screen, I can’t even begin to count the amount of men who asked to see my boobs and other business. Quite a few disconnected as well leaving my ego a little bruised.

All in all it can be a fun website if you have nothing else to do. And if you were to market something properly you could probably use it for promotions and to sell things, which I am sure the creator is working on.

So if you’re down for seeing some peen today, this site is totally for you.

Is a pig’s pussy pork? Probably. Is Hustle and Flow a must see, hell ya…well if nothing else its at least a must see for the music.

While the direction is alright, not Craig Brewers best ( Black Snake Moan anyone?), the music and dialogue will win over your heart in seconds. The movie is about a hustler – played by Terrence Howard, who has aspirations to become a rapper. Honestly, it’s a rather typical I-am-a-hustler-from-the-south-who-is-gunna-be-a big-rap-sensation movie.  I mean you have your real life rapper-turned “actor”, Ludacris playing a …get this, rapper and if that surprise didn’t knock you off your chair, you have the main prostitute played by (drum roll please) Taryn Manning.

I have to admit that the end surprised me a bit and got pretty heavy…then again what’s a movie about a rapper without guns? …Alright all sarcasm aside, the music in this movie is BOMB. The beats are heavy, the rhymes are dope and the passion is duly noted. While the direction in my opinion isn’t award worthy, the movie rightfully so won Best Original Song for “It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp”. If you don’t want to have “Whoop That Trick” or “It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp” stuck in your head for days after, don’t watch this…on second thought, who doesn’t want those songs stuck in their head?

If nothing more it’s a super inspiring film. Guarantee you will be nailing doors to your windows, lighting up joints and spittin’ out rhymes like our loveable hustler D Jay in no time.

It’s raining where I am, and if it is raining where YOU are, this song should make you feel better. Unfortunately there isn’t an official video for it or I would have posted that.

The artist is B.O.B – Bobby Ray. You have probably already heard his song Nothin’ On You Feat Bruno Mars, which is a fantastic song as well. His music style is influenced by a lot of soul and r&b. It’s very catchy, almost Outkast-ish in a way – without being annoying. His album hits stores April 27th and we can definitely expect a few “top 40″ hits off of it.

AND if you’re not feeling that today, lookin’ for a little dubstep clubstep? This is a remix by Drumsound & Baseline Smith. Whatever these guys touch turns to gold.  The song is Blame Feat Ruff Squad – On My Own, also a great song before it was remixed. Ruff Squad has a fantastic sound, pure grime. They are from east london, and while I can do without the Auto-Tune, I have to admit it sounds great with their accent.  Anyways, here is the remix for the song :
